Rapids, Michigan, and works out of a downtown studio in the heart of
an artist community. Originally from South Korea, she arrived in West
Michigan by age of three and raised by her adopted family. She began
formal art studies at Grand Rapids Community College and received her
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Kendall College of Art and
Design. Over the past decade, her work has shown in several regional
juried exhibits and locations throughout Michigan, including the
VanSingel Fine Arts Center and the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center's
Artist-In-Residence program. As a three-time ArtPrize participant,
her entries were seen at Huntington Bank in 2009 and DeVos Place in
2010 and 2011. Ms. Bradley has designed original artwork for Actors'
Theatre and the Healing Arts Program at Spectrum Hospital, as well as
for several private collectors. She is best known for her richly
layered abstract paintings that often incorporate imagery through
drawing and photographic transfer. In addition to her own artistic
endeavors, Abigail enjoys fashion, design, cuisine, and fabulous cups
of coffee. She also serves on community committees and attends local
events throughout the year.
